These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of ChicagoLawyer.co (the "Site"), operated by Ward M as attorney advertising for Henry Dog of Law Office of Henry Dog. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Attorney advertising; no legal advice

The Site is attorney advertising. Its content is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. You should not act or refrain from acting based on Site content without seeking advice from a licensed attorney about your specific situation.

2. No attorney-client relationship

Using the Site, submitting a form, sending an email, or calling does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship with Henry Dog is formed only after a conflict check and a written engagement agreement signed by you and the attorney. Do not send confidential information until a relationship is established. Information you send before then may not be protected as privileged.

3. Jurisdiction

Henry Dog is licensed to practice law in Illinois. The Site is intended for people with legal matters in Illinois, particularly Chicago and Cook County, and is not intended to solicit clients in jurisdictions where the attorney is not authorized to practice.

4. Your submissions

You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it. You agree not to submit information that is unlawful, abusive, or that infringes the rights of others. We may decline to respond to any inquiry.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping it at a rate that burdens the service, submitting spam, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Site content, design, and text are owned by the Site's operator or licensors and are protected by copyright. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. Other uses require written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site's operator and the attorney will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits any duty an attorney owes to a client under an engagement agreement or the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site's operator and the attorney from claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
